The dashboard tells me that 5,478 Days is beginning to get visitors from Facebook.
And, in the words of Dieter from “Sprockets,” I am happy as a little girl.
See, I’m not on Facebook. Which means I’m not putting up the link(s) that bring(s) people here.
Which means some unknown reader who is on Facebook must like this blog enough to post links there for others to follow.
Whoever you are: Thanks. You’re huge. Keep it up.
Everybody else: If you like what you read, please feel free to share it.
Link to it on your own blogs, or in a Facebook update. Tweet it on Twitter, if you’re one of those 140-character types. E-mail it to your college roommate. Mention it casually to neighbors over crackers and Wensleydale. Buy a box of faded postcards at a flea market and mail the URL to 25 strangers. It’s all good.
You’ll notice tools at the bottom of each post to help with some of that sharing business, on various online platforms. I only understand about half of ’em. If they make sense to you, knock yourself out.
Of course, if you don’t like what you read, don’t share it. To share is to endorse; and if what I put out doesn’t meet your standards, then I wouldn’t expect you to put your own name on it.
But if you do like it, let someone else know. Maybe they’ll like it too.
Thanks for your consideration. See you Monday.
