Hey Kurt!!! This is awesome that you have decided to tell the family story in a very unique way. You were wondering who was blowing the hits over from facebook…well it would be your fellow high school classmates like myself and I got the link from Erica Daniels…we all share and are hoping to see you for the reunion in July 🙂 Keep up the great writing.
Wow! Thanks very much for your support and kind words. Still up in the air about the reunion but maybe I’ll be there.
Hi Kurt, I stumbled upon your blog while doing a little search on the Robert Frost house in Shaftsbury. I’m Lillian LaBatt’s great niece and I remember visiting with her when she visited her sister in law, my grandmother Irene LaBatt. I literally live a mile and a half from the Frost house. In the past couple of years they’ve opened up a hiking trail that goes through much of the Frost property, including the apple orchards. I believe I corresponded with your grandmother Corinne many, maybe 20 years ago, when I was first getting into genealogy. Love reading your writings. Abbie LaBatt Dansereau
Thanks for reading and for leaving a comment! I guess we must be distantly related. It’s good to hear from you.
I have not been to any of Robert Frost’s homes (I think there is one up in New Hampshire as well) but once the pandemic ends I should put it on the to-do list.
